Frequently Asked Questions

How do I request an appointment?

To request an appointment, please contact our clinic by email at rvdrtkohn@gmail.com. Please include your name, contact information and a brief description of the reason for your appointment. Our team will respond with the appropriate next steps.

Do I need a referral?

Yes. If this is your first appointment with one of our dermatologists, a physician referral is required. Once you are an established patient, a new referral is generally not required for follow-up appointments.

For Mohs surgery, a physician referral and/or pathology report is required before scheduling. Once the necessary information has been received and reviewed, our clinic will contact you directly regarding your appointment.

How do I book Mohs surgery?

Mohs surgery cannot be booked directly by the patient. A physician referral and/or pathology report is required. Once the necessary information has been received and reviewed by our clinic, we will contact you directly to schedule your procedure and provide the appropriate instructions.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring your valid health insurance card, an up-to-date list of your medications and any relevant medical information. If you were referred to our clinic, please ensure that your referral and any relevant reports or test results have been provided to us.

Where is the clinic located and where can I park?

Our clinic is located at

Suite 320 – 1538 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal, QC H3G 1L5.

Parking is available nearby, including at 2250 Guy Street. As parking availability may vary, we recommend allowing a little extra time before your appointment.

Do you offer cosmetic treatments?

Yes. Our clinic offers a range of physician-led aesthetic treatments, including Botox®, dermal fillers, microneedling, PRP, Clear + Brilliant® laser treatments and other skin rejuvenation procedures. Treatment recommendations are personalized following an individual assessment.

Do you offer financing for cosmetic treatments?

Yes. Financing options for eligible cosmetic treatments are available through Beautifi. Financing is subject to approval, and available plans and terms are determined by Beautifi.

How should I prepare for Mohs surgery?

Before Mohs surgery, please follow the preparation instructions provided by our clinic. If medically appropriate and approved by your prescribing physician, certain medications may need to be adjusted before surgery. Do not stop any prescribed blood thinner without first consulting the physician who prescribed it.

We recommend eating a good breakfast on the morning of surgery unless otherwise instructed, bringing an up-to-date medication list, and planning to spend approximately 3–4 hours at the clinic. Detailed preparation instructions are available on our Mohs Surgery page.
