Jonathan Ohayon
Jonathan Ohayon is a Professor of Psychology at Dawson College, where he has taught since 2009, as well as a trained guidance counselor and PPCC Certified Life Coach.
His academic and professional interests include positive psychology, mental health, psychometric assessment and guidance counseling, with a particular interest in human resilience, psychological strengths and personal development.Â
His approach to coaching focuses on helping individuals recognize and build upon their existing strengths while developing strategies to address personal and professional challenges.
A Strength-Based Approach
Jonathan’s approach is influenced by positive psychology, with an emphasis on strengths, resilience, personal growth and overall well-being.
Rather than focusing primarily on problems or limitations, life and wellness coaching works with the individual to identify goals, explore obstacles and develop practical approaches that support positive change.
Coaching is a collaborative process designed to help individuals better understand their strengths, clarify what they would like to achieve and work toward meaningful personal or professional goals.

Focusing on Strengths & Resilience

Coaching is individualized, and the areas discussed depend on each person’s goals and circumstances.
